Abstract

The aviation industry requires efficient, safe, and cost-effective ground operations to ensure smooth aircraft turnaround. This paper presents a low-cost IoT-based automated aircraft ground operations management system using the ESP32 microcontroller. The system integrates vibration and temperature sensors to monitor equipment conditions in real time. Data is transmitted via Wi-Fi for remote monitoring. In abnormal conditions, alerts are triggered using LED and buzzer, and relay modules automate control actions. The system improves safety, reduces human intervention, and enables predictive maintenance. It is cost-effective, scalable, and suitable for modern smart airport environments.
